Chemical seals models MDM 7210 and 7211 consist of three separate parts: the upper housing with welded diaphragm, the lower housing and the attachement flange.

Different materials can be combined, and different connection types and sizes. This way, our chemical seals series MDM 72 are available in suitable variations for innumerable applications and media. The construction and function of these models are similar, but the allowed minimum and especially the maximum pressures differ.

MDM 7280 is constructed for higher pressure (400 or 600 bar). It has no separate attachement flange as the other models, but the upper and the lower housing are tied directly together by 6 bolts M 20.

Common Particularities
Upper Housing: Stainless steel 316 L (1.4435)
Instrument Connection: ½" BSP female; optionally various other thread connections.
Diaphragm: Stainless steel 316 L (1.4435) or various special materials.
Lower Housing: Zinc plated carbon steel, stainless steel, or various other materials.
Process Connection: ½" BSP or ½" NPT male thread connection (MDM 7280 ½" BSP female thread connection); optionally various other thread or flange connection types and sizes.
Attachment Flange and Bolts: Zinc plated carbon steel or stainless steel.
Gasket: MDM 7210, 7211: perbunan ("buna N") or viton.
MDM 7280: metal to metal.
Filling Liquid: Silicone oil; optionally various other filling fluids, suitable to the medium.

Model MDM 7210 Model MDM 7210 suits for pressures up to PN 40 (600 lb/sq.in.), respectively optional with reinforced attachement flange up to PN 100 (1,500 lb/sq.in).
Nominal Pressure: PN 40 or PN 100, with reinforced attachement flange.
Suitable For Pressure Ranges: Pressure gauges: 0-0.6 bar up to 0-100 bar or 0-15 psi up to 0-1500 psi.

Model MDM 7211 Model MDM 7211 suits for pressures from 0-160 bar up to PN 250 (3,500 lb/sq.in).
Nominal Pressure: PN 250.
Suitable For Pressure Ranges: Pressure gauges: 0-160 and 0- 250 bar or 0- 2000 and 0- 3500 psi.

Model MDM 7280 Model MDM 7280 suits for pressures from 0-400 bar up to PN 600 (10,000 lb/sq.in).
Nominal Pressure: PN 600.
Suitable For Pressure Ranges: Pressure gauges: 0- 400 and 0- 600 bar or 0- 6000 and 0- 10000 psi.
